Julie grew up in Baltimore, MD, and Eureka, CA. Albania, South Africa, and the Philippines are the places she’s served on mk2mk summer missions. After high school, she took a gap year and worked in almost every position at her mom’s Italian restaurant before attending Cal Poly Humboldt for a degree in Food and nutrition, Child Development, and Textile Science. She and Tracy helped start the campus ministry in Bulgaria in the 1990's and stayed for 14 years with their 2 mks. Most recently, they served in Budapest, Hungary. She currently calls Orlando home.
She's involved in Operations and Finance on the mk2mk team, as well as championing TCK youth around the world through summer mission. She’s seen how it can foster community and provide a place to grow in Christ.
